Provider Disclosure
Who actually delivers your event, and how providers come to be listed on Magic Special Events Australia.
Last updated: August 2026
1. What "independent provider" means
Every physical event booked through Magic Special Events Australia is delivered by an independent Australian event business. These providers are not employees, agents or representatives of MAGIC INDUSTRIES INC.. They run their own businesses, set their own pricing, and are responsible for the tables, staffing, setup and pack-down of the events they deliver.
2. How providers join the Platform
Providers don't appear on Magic Special Events Australia automatically. To be listed, a provider goes through an onboarding process:
- They apply via our for-providers page.
- They sign a provider agreement with MAGIC INDUSTRIES INC. setting out how the Platform relationship works.
- They provide business details, including an ABN where applicable, which we hold on file.
- They confirm they hold public liability insurance appropriate to their business.
- They confirm their events follow the entertainment-only model used across the Platform — no real-money wagering, and any play chips used have no cash or redemption value.
3. Provider statuses
Providers move through a small number of statuses as part of the onboarding and ongoing relationship:
- Pending — the provider has applied and their details are being reviewed.
- Verified — the provider's details, insurance confirmation and agreement have been checked and accepted.
- Active — the provider is currently eligible to receive enquiries and quote on bookings.
- Suspended — the provider has been temporarily removed from receiving new enquiries, for example while a complaint is reviewed.
4. What customers can expect
The provider named in your confirmed booking is the business that delivers your event. If you have questions about a specific provider before confirming a booking, you're welcome to ask us at [email protected].
5. Photo credit
Where photographs supplied by a provider are used on the Platform to illustrate an event, they are credited in the form "Event example provided by [Provider Name]" so it's clear whose work is shown.
6. Reporting a provider concern
If you have a concern about a specific provider — before, during or after a booking — email [email protected] with your booking details and a description of the issue. See our Cancellations & Complaints page for how we handle these reports.
