This Privacy Policy explains how MAGIC INDUSTRIES INC., operator of Magic Special Events Australia (the "Platform"), handles information collected through the site. We've written it to reflect exactly what the Platform does today, rather than a generic template.

1. What we collect today

The current version of the Platform is a simple website with no tracking scripts and no backend processing of enquiries. In normal operation, the information we handle is limited to:

• Contact information — your name, email address and phone number, if and when you submit an enquiry or booking form once enquiry handling is live.
• Event information — details you provide about your event, such as date, location, guest numbers and event type.
• Device and usage information — basic technical information automatically recorded in standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, used only for security and site operation.
• Email correspondence — the content of any emails you send to [email protected] or that we send in reply.

2. No analytics or advertising cookies, currently

As it stands, this site does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies or third-party tracking tools. If we introduce analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this Privacy Policy first to describe what's added and how it's used, before any such tool goes live.

3. Sharing with providers

Event enquiry information may be shared with suitable independent Australian event providers to obtain availability or pricing.

We only share what's needed for a provider to assess and quote your enquiry — such as your event date, location, guest numbers and event type, plus contact details once you choose to proceed with a specific provider.

4. Purpose of use

We use the information described above to respond to enquiries, coordinate quotes with suitable providers, manage bookings, provide customer support, and keep the Platform secure and working correctly. We do not use your information for anything beyond these purposes.

5. Retention

We keep enquiry and booking information for as long as reasonably needed to handle your enquiry, support an active or upcoming booking, and deal with any follow-up questions or complaints afterwards. Basic server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes and are not retained indefinitely.

6. No sale of data

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Information is shared with event providers strictly to fulfil the purpose described in section 3, and is not sold or provided to anyone for their own marketing use.

7. Access, correction and deletion

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond and action reasonable requests, though we may need to keep limited records where required for legitimate business or legal reasons, such as an unresolved booking or complaint.

8. International transfer

MAGIC INDUSTRIES INC. operates the Platform from the United States, so information you provide may be stored and processed there rather than in Australia. We take reasonable steps to keep information handled through the Platform secure regardless of where it's processed.

9. Children

The Platform is not directed at children and is not intended for use by minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, particularly as the Platform's functionality changes — for example, if enquiry forms move from demonstration-only to live, or if analytics tools are introduced. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change.
